How our usage limits actually work

We meter usage in tokens across two rolling windows: a 5-hour session window and a 7-day weekly window, mirroring the model popularized by Claude.

Enforcement happens in a gateway that reserves the worst-case cost of each request before calling the model, then reconciles to the real usage. Even under heavy concurrency, you can never exceed your plan.
